We already have UL certificate for tubes (UL# E35825). Our tubes pass UL new standard 1598C IFAR.

UL carry out new standard (IFAR) for tubes while old standard was IEUQ. With IEUQ, many factories use internal drivers for tubes but these tubes may not pass IFAR any more especially in cUL test.

UL Lab. provide for the last day for IEUQ is Feb. 2013. and cUL was July. 2012. already. That's to say tubes with internal drivers will stop UL certificate on Feb. 2013.

Now very few manufacturers pass IFAR you can check in UL website, not more than 70 companies. While hundreds of manufacturers with old standard IEUQ will become invalid. Thinking of long-term and steady business, personally I suggest you to stop using tubes wth internal drivers. There will be big problem after you buy tubes and find they can not pass IFAR.
